Responsibilities: • Supervise and participate in definition and update of geological models, e.g. structural framework and reservoir geometry. • Compile and utilize special seismic-stratigraphic studies in order to improve sedimentary models, at reservoir scale, and provide any possible upsides (stratigraphic and structural traps) • Supervise, coordinate and participate in the evaluation and updating of hydrocarbon in place, from which reserves are further estimated. • Supervise and participate in well correlations and reservoir characterization and updating all geological and wells databases. • Supervise, coordinate and participate in target definition and development of wells including infill wells, and well platform location which require integrating data from various kinds of maps, previous wells, seismic and production data and drilling constraints, preparing general and specific well proposals. • Supervise and provide geological advice to the team during drilling and logging operations. | ||
| Skills | Qualification: • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology with good knowledge in Geology and Geophysics. • 10 years experience in petroleum geology including 5 years in Seismic Stratigraphic Interpretation. • Good knowledge of geology & geophysics and field development. • Good knowledge of geoscientific software application i.e. Geolog 6, Charisma, Petrel, CPS-3. • Good command of both written and spoken English. | ||
