Responsibilities:
Sr. Engineer, Cost & Planning assists department managers in initiating and developing departmental and project work plans and budgets in compliance with divisional business directions and goals. The job holder monitors and follows up departmental and project performance and budget execution to ensure alignment with approved work plans and also studies and analyzes costs to ensure the commerciality of the project. He/She also identifies and analyzes any deviations from project work plans and provides advice/recommendations to management. He/she liaises with joint venture partners and internal parties to ensure the smooth running of project activities.
SkillsQualification:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• In-depth knowledge of technical and commercial disciplines with 10-15 years experience in business analysis or project planning in E&P or related business.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Broad knowledge of economics, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Ability to think strategically & commercial mindset
• In-depth understanding and ability to forecast business environment & risk.
• Integrated knowledge across various disciplines in order to align future business needs, optimize corporate benefits and avoid mitigate corporate risks.
