| Description | Saudi Aramco is on the look out for an Advanced Process Control (Automation Engineer). | ||
| Skills | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: BS Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 10 years in advance process control (APC) with sound understanding of oil and gas processes. Experience should include gas plants, NGL fractionation, and complex refinery units such as crude units, hydrocrackers, and reformers. Should have significant relevant working knowledge that includes proven experience in an operating plant. Should possess a strong working knowledge of base-layer process controls (regulatory controls), a mastery of multivariable predictive controls (MPC), and knowledge of optimization, distributed control systems (DCS) and instrumentation. Should have knowledge of process simulations, economics and business development. Commercial experience with an APC vendor or project management skills would be a plus. Specific experience is preferred with any or all of the following MPC technologies; Apen Tech's DMCplus, Honeywell's Profit Controller, and Shell/Yokogawa's SMOC. | ||
