DescriptionAn International EPCM company is on the look out for a Instrument NDT Specialist to be based in Libya Tripoli.

To work back-to-back with the existing NDT Specialist with responsibilities for the following:
• Inspection and survey of all pipework, pipelines, tanks and vessels as requested by Operations, Construction Engineering and General, Maintenance including liaising with other departments, planning and preparation: of the works.
• Ultrasonic surveys on Pressure Vessels as required by Zueitina 3rd Party Certification Authority.
• Acceptance on behalf of Zueitina of all NDT reports submitted by contract technicians based at all of Zueitina operational sites.
• Carry out inspections when discrepancies occur and resolve any conflicts with other departments concerning inspection results.
• Advise on inspection procedure and requirements as necessary.
• Record and maintain records / data of all inspections carried out and compile records as requested by various departments.
Skills• PCN Level 2 or 3 qualifications or equivalent from a recognized internationally accredited authority in UT, MPI and LPI.
• A high standard of written and spoken English is essential.
• A minimum of 10-years experience of NDT Inspection and Supervision in the Oil & Gas industry is required. Experience of Sour Gas Environments and in-depth knowledge of Hydrogen Induced Cracking (HIC) is essential.

RemarksThis is a Desert based position.
Rotation 6 weeks on 3 weeks off.

INFORMATION::
Annual salary is paid monthly in equal amounts, net of Libyan taxes. The employee is responsible for payment of any taxes in his home country. All air tickets (economy fare) to and from nearest home airport are provided for each leave period. Travel days are included in the leave period. In all cases our employees in Libya are provided with accommodation, all food and messing free of charge.
