| Description | A International EPCM company is on the look out for a Work Over Rig Supervisor to be based in Libya Tripoli. He is responsible for the day-to-day on site planning, rig start-up and execution of completion and workover activities maintaining maximum HSE and operational efficiency, at maximum value in terms of cost versus benefits. Responsible for implementation of all the company's policies, procedures and guidelines on drilling operations, safety and environment protection. Responsibility / Accountability: • Responsible for the day-to-day on site planning, rig start-up and execution of completion and workover activities. • Supervise the workover contractor and service personnel to ensure all work performed conforms to safety, quality and highest value requirements and in accordance with the well program. • Responsible for day-to-day optil11ization of activities and provision of first line action and problem solving in case of unexpected events. • Provides sufficient, accurate and timely data to office-based Well Delivery Team members. • Co-ordinates the timely supply of required equipment, consumables and specialist services to ensure uninterrupted continuation of operations. • Responsible for overall HSE on-site, ensuring full wellsite compliance with the International HSE policies and procedures as detailed in the Safety Management System, HSE Standards and all other HSE documentation. • Control the activity of contractors. • Analyze the instantaneous workover and completion data. • Responsible for the implementation of all relevant contracts on the rig site and their variations. • Responsible for the monitoring and reporting of contractor service quality. • Ensure the reliability of technical and financial information. • Ensure and control daily and final reporting of wells and/or of operations. • Completeness and correctness/accuracy of daily completion and workover reports. • Responsible for the daily expenditure and reporting. • Witness and supervise installation and testing of completion tubing, tubing hanger and x-trees in accordance with approved program. | ||
| Skills | Experience and Qualifications: • Experienced Workover and Completion Supervisor with previous experience as Wellsite Workover Engineer / Supervisor • Minimum 10 years experience. • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position. • Must have valid Well Control certification (WCF). • Land Workover experience (preferably remote desert). • Trained in HSEQ and Emergency Management. • Good experience in well testing is a requirement. • Previous in the country experience is beneficial but not essential. • Fluent in English language (spoken and written) is essential. • Must have proven field experience, good understanding of the well construction and well completion process. • Good knowledge of using all job related computer application. | ||
| Remarks | This is a Desert based position. Rotation 35 days on 35 days off. INFORMATION:: Annual salary is paid monthly in equal amounts, net of Libyan taxes. The employee is responsible for payment of any taxes in his home country. All air tickets (economy fare) to and from nearest home airport are provided for each leave period. Travel days are included in the leave period. In all cases our employees in Libya are provided with accommodation, all food and messing free of charge. | ||
