| Description | A Leading Multinational E&P Company is looking for Head Construction to join their India Operation. The Job offers the following responsibilities: • To oversee all the construction activities at site and manages the site execution of assigned capital project works to ensure completion within approved schedules and budgets to a satisfactory standard of quality. • Identifies, assesses and control hazards and effectively implements all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. Ensures that the actions of all contract personnel are in accordance with such requirements. • Manages the activities of the Contractor and Company Construction team to meet the technical, cost, quality and schedule requirements of the capital projects. • Ensures adherence to engineering design specifications, and all appropriate technical standards and recommended practices (API, ASTM, AWS, etc.). • Maintains quality assurance by managing inspection of materials delivered, contractor’s work and equipment, and by obtaining 3rd party inspection services for X-Ray, UT or other NDT as required. • Liaise with others to obtain PTW on daily basis and ensures Contractors’/ Vendors’ compliance to the work permit requirements • Maintains all cost schedule commitments to each individual assigned project. Ensures that relevant project cost components are within +/- 10% of the approved cost. • Prepares weekly/ daily reports on the status of each assigned project and deliver such to the Projects Manager. • Manages all contracts associated with assigned projects. | ||
| Skills | Education and Qualification: • Engineering Degree or Diploma in Engineering with Higher Experience. Experience: • 25 Years + in Petroleum or Petrochemical Industry • 20 Years + in Construction Supervision • Contract Management • Inspection and NDT • Pressure Testing • Lifting and Rigging Systems. • Process /Piping/ Mechanical Equipment / E&I related construction background. Key Skills: • Good Interpersonal skills especially in a multicultural environment • Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills • Computer Literacy • Good decision Making • Ability to Coordinate / Supervise Multiple Projects • Good Organizational and Prioritization Skills • Familiarity with Industry Codes , Standards and Recommended Practices • Familiarity with Offshore/ Onshore Logistics | ||
