Job description Ecofys is providing offshore services to Evelop International and to several other costumers. In order to achieve maximum efficiency we are forming a team of offshore engineers with the following disciplines: • Geotechnical and wind turbine foundations. • Offshore cabling and cable protection. • Contracting & tenders. • Offshore Operations & Logistics. • Electrical Engineering. • Maintenance. • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). • Quality assurance and control. The person appointed will be responsible for the organisation, planning, budgeting, management and control of work packages in a number of offshore wind farm developments in North West Europe. Your responsibilities include: • Preparation and implementation of Project Plans including: o Project control and integration o Project schedule o Risk assessment/management o Technical/Quality issues o Communications planning o Public and community relations o Financial control • Maintain effective and proactive management and control of contractors and consultants. • Provide effective management of all personnel associated with the project(s) undertaken • Regular communications and reporting of project progress to all stakeholders. • Any other duties as required and agreed between the parties. | ||
| Skills | Required Skills/Experience: We are looking for an energetic, creative and enthusiastic engineer (m/f). Our ideal candidate combines: • A Degree engineering or by experience, environmental science or comparable industry project management qualifications. • Strong working knowledge of renewable energy generating technologies (Especially Wind Energy), offshore oil & gas operations and/or utility/electricity market experience. • Sound project management and control capability skills including a proven ability to manage complex matrix projects with multiple stakeholders. • Minimum of 5-10 years proven recent project management experience leading large scale multimillion projects. • Offshore experience required, subsea experience is a definite plus. • Committed to actual delivery of process and policy into the business, not just a theoretician, someone with a “hands on” attitude. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with energy and charisma. • Challenge and results-orientated with a flexible and analytical approach to problem solving. • Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to prepare clear reports and public presentation to senior management at board level. • Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. • Excellent spoken and written English, knowledge of German is a strong advantage. • EU work permit. • The role will require travel at times including overnight stays. | ||
