| Description | Purpose of Job:
To plan, support and supervise the implementation of all well testing and stimulation and well intervention activities. In co-ordination with the drilling organization, ensure smooth and trouble-free running of all well operations. Ensure that activity is performed in a safe and cost effective manner, that data and information are collected to satisfy needs and requirements . Identify the most effective methods and technologies aimed at improving safely and performances of the well operations.
Main Accountabilities:
The position holder is responsible for developing the testing and stimulation program in co-ordination with the Exploration Department, the planning, the operational support and skilled advice in performing well testing and stimulation. He will be in charge to coordinate the logistics aspect, coordination of services provided by Contractors in accordance with the planned activities; More specifically:
- Prepare a detailed testing and stimulation program based on information provided by the Exploration Department (interval to be tested, type, temperature and pressure of formation, petrophysical parameters, type and density of fluids, type of perforations, etc.) and Operations organization on testing objectives.
- Co-ordinate with the Drilling Department in preparing detailed work programs (including listing of the materials/equipment required for their implementation) to be executed at the rig site; ensure that detailed programs are duly authorized before implementation and shared/agreed upon with all Contractors involved in the execution.
- Guarantee that the program is according Operations and HSE manuals and procedures.
- Co-ordinate with contractors to ensure that all the necessary resources (services, materials, equipment and personnel) are required, procured and are available for the scope.
- Identify and procure all the necessary support to accomplish with the above.
- Supervise the day by day operations liaising with the Drilling Supervisor at the rig site, providing him with technical advice, ensuring that requirements derived from the rig operations are timely and effectively satisfied.
- Enquire on operational difficulties in order to understand causes and evolution; provide advice and detailed remedial plans on the most effective solutions or corrective actions.
- In co-operation with the Exploration and Drilling Departments, ensure that lesson learnt and related recommendations are included in future programs to allow for improvement of next operations.
- Liaise with Contractors representatives to ensure that personnel, services, materials, equipment, etc. are available in quantity and quality as specified by contracts and in accordance with the progress of operations.
- Monitor the implementation of the risk mitigation measures; take immediate actions to safeguard personnel, assets and environment in case emergencies related to the works being performed.
- Report to the Drilling Manager about any potential or actual well problem or any significant deviation in the planned operations, with particular attention to the HSE aspects.
- Liaise with the Drilling Superintendent in order to efficiently optimize transports, minimizing trips and waste of time.
- Monitor operations related time and costs issues in liaison with the Drilling Department and Operation Cost Controller.
- Collect, verify and distribute the rig site generated reports and prepare the End of Activity Report.
- Ensure that materials stock reports are duly kept updated at ail times; at the end of the activity ensure that all matters are properly closed out, both internally and in respect of Contractors/Suppliers.
- Ensure that hand over notes are prepared and allow for a smooth continuation of the operations.

- Identify risks and hazard related to the activities being executed and report on them to the line of responsibility
- Implement risk reduction plans and ensure that the assessed risk matches the ALARP acceptance criteria
- In conjunction with the HSE Dept. and/or third parties, contribute to preparation of the identified HSE cases
- If required, participate to HSE audits, conformance/non conformance reporting.
- Support the preparation of the necessary documentation to apply for dispensation from procedures should this been required by contingent reasons.
Interfaces:
Company:
- Contacts shall be held with the Company's positions linked to the performance of well testing and stimulation. Typical interfaces are: HSE Dept.; Exploration/ Dept.; P&C Dept.
External:
- Contact shall be held with Contractors and Providers of materials, equipment and services with the scope of ascertain availability and assess conformance with specifications and HSE requirements.

| Skills | Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified to bachelor. or higher in technical/engineering disciplines.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in well testing/, including at least 5 years of field operations experience, preferably HP/HT environment.
- Experience of working in sour environment.
Required Competencies:
- Knowledge of Completion, Well Testing; Well Intervention and Well Stimulation methods and techniques, Drilling and W.O. Rigs characteristics, specific Equipment and Systems.
- Extended experience of HP/HT conditions
- Knowledge of H2S hazards during well testing, completion and well intervention operations.
- Knowledge of advanced Completion, Well Testing, Well Intervention and Well Stimulation operational techniques.
- Familiar with methods and procedures relevant to the procurement of goods and services for the relevant activities.
- Computer literate, with the scope of producing programs, reports, and organize/analyze well data.
- Team player, capable of working with professionals from different organizations.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English language.
