The Oilcareerfair at Offshore Europe 2007, 4 – 7 September Aberdeen, UK
Aberdeen, UK - The premier international oil event Offshore Europe has proven to be a record-breaker once again, achieving a highest ever attendance figure in excess of 35,000 for the biennial show in Aberdeen, Scotland.
With an exhibition which attracted 1,455 exhibiting companies from around the world. The show held from September 4-7th in Aberdeen, Scotland has been declared an “outstanding success” by The Offshore Europe Partnership. The partnership is a joint venture between Reed Spearhead Exhibitions (RSX) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
The Oilcareerfair at Offshore Europe was the busiest ever. Participating companies were: Addax Petroleum, ENI International Resources, Maersk Oil & Gas, OilSearch, Santos, TQLS Training & Education and Worldwideworker. Each company spoke to hundreds of potential candidates with different levels of experience.
Kenny Bradley, Recruitment Manager with OilSearch in Australia says: "It feels like I have been speaking to 2 or 3 million professionals, we hardly had time have lunch or take a break, but this is how it should be on a recruitment fair! I have met about 30 top candidates, a very pleasing result."
