Description of Application Engineer |
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our fast growing Oil & Gas business. Reporting to the Application Engineering Leader in Singapore, you will be instrumental in participating in a commercial and sales team driving growth within the Asia and Middle east region. Duties: • Be responsible for technical review, ensuring completeness and responsiveness on technical support of proposal preparation and submission • Ensure system offering compliance to code of practice and industry standards • Evaluate the overall system offering installation mechanism and be accountable for system operability • Supporting the Sales Team with tender technical clarifications • Support the Sales Force in opportunity development/assessment with Customers • Ensure a proper hand-off for project execution (OTR) |

Skills required for Application Engineer |
Ideally you'll have a degree in Engineering and have 5 years experience in engineering. Preference given to candidates with Oil & Gas experience in Land & Offshore business and knowledge of drilling and production systems Other Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in the field of Mechanical Engineering • Technological proficiency, including relevant experience with systems engineering tools • Strong oral and written communication skills in English • Excellent Presentation skills • Self Starter, able to work on their own initiative • Team player with customer centric approach • Must be willing to work in Singapore |
