Description of Assistant Wellsite Supervisor |
An International Oilfield Service Company is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Assistant Wellsite Supervisor for their project in and outside Iraq. • Responsible for planning and coordination of a wider scope of well programs. • Coordinates well program operations with Drilling Contractors, Wellsite Supervisor and Third Parties to ensure compliance with work programs, project procedures and contract requirements. • Prepares 24 hour plan ahead document with Drilling Supervisors. • Issues Standing Instructions to Drillers for each tour. • Ensures Material Requests are issued in a timely manner to avoid disruption of operation. • Prepares daily morning report with the contribution of the appropriate service companies as required. • Responsible for compliance with applicable policies, standards and procedures. • Responsible for seven day planner, personnel on site and equipment on site lists. • Prepares detailed procedures for specific operation • Identifies high risk situations, document them, and adopt preventive measures • Participates in accident/incident investigations and reporting as required. |

Skills required for Assistant Wellsite Supervisor |
• BSc level in Petroleum Engineering or relevant discipline. • 6-10 years experience in Well activities or similar field. • Well Control certificate is an advantage. • Previous working experience in an Oilfield company • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Interact with all teams within the organization |
