Description of Chief Executive Officer |
The primary focus of CEO will be the effective and safe operation and maintenance of the existing assets including LNG, On- & Offshore Production & Processing Facilities and Onshore Pipelines. Responsibilities • Overall management of the company • Corporate planning and resourcing • Operations management • Profit & loss accountability • Set direction for the company aligned with the shareholders’ and other key stakeholders' interests • Authorize major investment decisions (at the highest levels of technical complexities and uncertainties) and related resource plans • Represent the company at the highest level with government institutions • Ensure all activities are done in accordance with HSES standards and all legal & fiscal requirements • Lead, develop and motivate the team members and engage with all staff on a regular basis • Build a strong Company culture, acknowledging the diversity in the work environment. |

Skills required for Chief Executive Officer |
Education • The position requires a University Degree in technical sciences and/or finance and economics, with extensive senior executive management experience, preferably at board level, in development, operational and international management roles. An advanced degree is a plus Experience • Senior multi-discipline and general management experience of at least 15 years is considered necessary. • Experience as a CEO or possibly COO of a significant company • Experience in Government Relations both Russian and externally • Experience in working with foreign governments, lending institutions and companies • Experience dealing with Far Eastern companies and governments is a definite plus • Experience with both Russian and international companies • Demonstrated successful career on a fast track with varied assignments Skills • Strong leadership and management sills • Proven general management skills in a large corporation • Cultural awareness and the ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment • Demonstrated command presence • Ability to deal with the Board level of various organizations • Effective interpersonal skills at all levels • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally • Solid understanding of finance and ability to deal with the financial community • An ability to maintain sound relationships at the highest levels are essential • Proven skills in government relations both in Russia and with foreign governments • Good understanding of Project Management and Project implementation • Bilingual – Russian/English |
