A Leading Petroleum Technologies Company - total solutions provider to the Oil & Gas sector based in Kuwait is on the look out for a Chief Financial Officer. The position will contribute towards the strategic development of the business and the achievement of financial objectives. The position will also lead the accounting and finance functions for all the companies within the Group with a view to ensure compliance and professionalism. Size of the role: Manage 30 staff and $50 MM USD • Accountable for optimizing the financial structure of the company and financial governance. • Develop close working relations with financiers, shareholders, private equity investors and a central role in building investor relations. Liaise externally with banks, third party consultants and tax advisors. • Oversee a team and carry out day to day responsibilities of: -Accounting – Book keeping, Audit, Year report -Treasury – Cash Management -Financing – Facilities -Taxation – Optimization of Tax benefits -Insurance – Assets, Personnel -Reporting – Performance Management & Ratios -Project Evaluations – Financial Due Diligence of Opportunities and Financial Due Diligence Of - Support acquistions if this occurs. • Reports to CEO |

Skills required for Chief Financial Officer |
• University degree in Accounting or Finance plus professional qualification such as CPA, CA, CCA,CMA, etc. • 15+ years progressive experience including auditing, general accounting, financial management of which at least 8+ years should have been in oil and gas industry. • Financial analysis experience. • Ability to negotiate with business partners and manage complex acquisitions in the E&P industry • Experience in transaction management and deal financing • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with banks and investors • Knowledge of accounting principles as they apply to revenue recognition, internal accounting controls, taxation, investment and treasury functions • Experience in handling IPO • Excellent teamwork, leadership and communication skills are required • Experience in ERP implementation |
