Description of Chief Investment and Development Officer |
• Recognize and develop potential Property Development opportunities in the UAE that add value, improve the rate of return on investments and increase the market share of Company Properties in line with its vision, mission and strategy. • Direct and manage Project Development and Management, Procurement and contracts issues in order to ensure that the development parameters are met and obtain approval to the feasibility studies and achieve the project plans in line with the Company vision, mission and project objectives. Property Development Strategy: • Provide input to the Property Development strategy in the UAE in line with the company’s vision and mission further contributing to the achievement of the company’s eventual goal. • Identification of Opportunities (Investment Pre Feasibility): • Commission and utilise the market research for ongoing and future projects in the UAE in order to assess the demand and supply of Real Estate properties being developed or envisaged and proactively plan to exploit these opportunities. • Leverage the assets and capability of Company to present improved offerings and identify further opportunities which provide thrust to the growth initiatives of Company. • Provide end-to-end Property development advice from the concept stage to handover to the client to maximise the rate of return on investment. • Provide frame work for development methodology (scope of work with the decision) Development Strategy & Plan: • Study the Real Estate portfolio of the Company and provide strategic advice on mix of real estate development options, pricing, innovative concepts, etc. in order to obtain the maximum commercial exploitation of the business opportunity. • Formulate, develop and implement strategies for the on going developments of the real estate properties in order to maximize business opportunity. • Provide the development brief, concept design, time frame, parameters for cost estimates and analysis to estimate qualities and cost of materials and equipment in order to develop and determine the feasibility study and business plans for each project. • Provide recommendations about potential land purchases opportunities to the MD in order to determine how the purchase will fit into the business plan. |

Skills required for Chief Investment and Development Officer |
Qualifications: • Masters degree in Business Administration with Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering or Project Management • A Professional certificate in Project Management Knowledge of development, project management and procurement Experience: • 15+ years of experience in Real Estate Industry preferably 10+ years experience at a managerial level (in the design, construction and management stages) |
