As a result of this success around the world, our Procurement Department in our Reading-headquartered operation is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of international projects that continue to increase in scale and complexity. We are currently looking for experienced Contracts Managers, with proven experience in LNG, oil and gas, process plant industries to work on fixed term assignment in Karratha, Western Australia. The length of assignment duration would be between 12 – 18 months and possibly longer. You will be required to manage multi-disciplinary engineering contracts to demanding cost and programme targets. Responsibilities: •Contractor selection •Preparation of tender documentation - the tendering process including tender evaluation, negotiation and contract award •Site administration including interim payments and the agreement of the final account settlement. |

Requirements: • Essential to the role is a detailed knowledge of the mechanisms required to manage construction contracts from inception to completion in a project environment. • Candidates should be familiar with all aspects of contract administration and be able to demonstrate a detailed understanding of the following: - Candidates must be commercially aware - Candidates should be familiar with the standard conditions of contract prevalent in the industry - Candidates should possess risk management skills - Candidates should possess an engineering or business degree, or equivalent |
