Description of Deep Gas Drilling Engineer |
Duties/Responsibilities: • Writes drilling and workover programs for oil development, gas and water wells. • Writes well completion reports. • Monitors daily drilling operations and provides technical and engineering support to drilling operations. • Evaluates new drilling equipment and procedures to reduce cost and increase drilling efficiency. • Initiates studies to solve drilling problems and recommends ideas to enhance drilling performance. |

Skills required for Deep Gas Drilling Engineer |
Education: • BS in Petroleum Engineering Experience: • Eight (08) years experience in drilling engineering. • Extensive knowledge of deep high pressure gas wells and the design of vertical, horizontal and multilateral oil and gas wells. • Knowledge and experience in the application of new drilling technology and under-balanced drilling are desirable. |
