Description of Development Manager |
Job Purpose: • Assist in the development of projects from conceptualization of ideas to completion of feasibility studies. • Support in the development of strategy for implementation of the company’s vision and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Develops strategies for the enhancement of functional relationship with external parties involved in the approved project for development. • Assists in the overall development and implementation of division’s annual plan. • Assists in the development of preliminary plan for the company’s projects including but not limited to high level cost estimates, project time line, architectural plan and construction planning. • Identifies and evaluates real estate development opportunities including risk analysis and economic evaluation. • Reviews preliminary plans, develops master & concept designs and ensures that they are accurate and realistic and in line with company’s overall project development strategy. • Evaluates and manages performance of his subordinates. |

Skills required for Development Manager |
• Strong Management skills including decision making, negotiation, risk management and interpersonal skills. • Able to liaise effectively with other Executive team members to ensure effective communication related to new policies & real estate concepts. • Dynamic attitude and able to command respect his/her area of expertise from internal and external contacts. • Highly creative and be able to crystalize new concepts for commercial project development. • Professional qualifications in Engineering/Master Planning. • Demonstrate achievement and recognition in real estate development projects. |
