PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (Carigali) is a wholly owned Exploration and Production (E&P) subsidiary of PETRONAS, the national oil company of Malaysia. Carigali is actively expanding beyond the shores of Malaysia towards attaining its vision to be A Multinational Exploration and Production ( E&P ) Company of Choice Creating Value through Continuous Improvement and Growth. Currently, Carigali has expanded from domestic E&P company into a full-fledged international organization with interest in 25 countries mainly in South East Asia, Africa, Central Asia and Middle East. Job Description: • Prepare/lead, plan, coordinate, advice, mentorship and supervise engineers in performing all aspects of well completion works for successful, cost effective and safe implementation of PCSB’S completion operations in its development completion, work over and wire line activities both domestic and international areas. • Develop well completion procedures and programmes to ensure safe and efficient operations by introducing innovative programme/ technique and setting key performance indicator for the project teams. • Improve operational efficiency by applying the latest state of the art technology in all facets of well completion during development drilling -completion and work over operations. • Consolidate, capture and verify the lesson learnt and technical knowledge Well Completion and disseminate the knowledge to all Well Completion Engineers in the various projects so as everybody is well informed and contribute to the improvement in their work processes and technology applications. • Reduce non productive completion time and trouble cost by identifying problem areas, analyze nonproductive time trends and recommend remedial action. • Develop the scope of work and technical specifications for Well Completion equipment for tender packages to be in line with the engineering standards and meeting the operational requirement. • Evaluate and monitor the contractor's performance to ensure the improvement of their service and meeting customer requirements by ensuring compliance with safety, contractual, procedural and regulatory requirements. • Conduct engineering and technical studies associated with well completion in order to increase competitiveness and improve well integrity. |

Skills required for Executive / Specialist (Well Completion) |
Qualifications: • Degree / M.Sc / Ph.D level preferably in Petroleum Engineering Experience and skills required • 7 - 20 years in Oil & Gas exploitation, drilling, completion, workover and well services • Technical knowledge on areas of drilling, completion, workover and well servicing. • Good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skill. |
