Job Description: Loading and georeferencing of geochemical data into GWIS data management software GEOREX, a company specializing in the Exploration and Production services for the oil and gas industry seeks senior development geophysicists to participate and oversee field development for its clients. Key Responsibilities/Job target • Data loading to the master geochemical database (GWIS) under the supervision of the project data manager, and more specifically involved with: o Geochemical data (Rock or oil analysis) o Geological data (Chronostratigraphy, Lithostratigraphy, lithology) o Thermal data (Raw/corrected temperatures, thermal flux) o Quality control of files The data refer to samples deriving from wells or field sections. Will have to describe pyrolyse data from rock samples or oil analysis. The data will be either in paper or digital format. • Database management: edit and prepare data for users and follow-up maintenance of the data management software regarding the diverse partners under the supervision of the project data manager. |

Skills required for Geochemical Data Loader – GWIS Software |
Required skills: • Masters Degree in Geoscience • 3+ years of experience in relevant field • Knowledgeable in the data management of geochemical and thermal data with GWIS • Knowledge of Prosource application • Knowledge of 3rd party software such as Arcview (GIS) • Demonstrate rigor, god interpersonal skills, customer orientated, adaptable, innovative and self motivated • Language: French is a must |
