Position: • Working within the Geosciences Teams, the successful candidate will contribute to exploration and development projects first in the main office, then in our subsidiaries. Key activities will include: • Carrying out geological interpretation and synthesis in association with a team of Geophysicists and Reservoir Engineer, • Participating in or conceiving geological models and warranting the consistency of static and dynamic data syntheses • Updating geological maps for new well data • Estimating and quantifying geological uncertainties • Participating in logging follow-up on well acquisition programmes This support covers sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural analysis and integration of other geological data and interpretation such as core description, petrophysics, diagenesis and geochemistry. 500 Engineers are currently involved in discipline throughout the Group. Fonctional and geographical mobility enhance this job position, truly interfacing many disciplinary experts. |

Skills required for Geologist F/M |
Education : • Master of Science in Geology. • Experience in the oil industry would be an added value. • Willingness to accept assignment on sites and expatriation are necessary conditions to guarantee your career progress. Experience: • Fresh graduate accepted, with valued work placement in Geology issues, preferably in the oil & gaz industry. Or/And • Experienced professionals in petroleum geology. Skills : • Ability to work productively and co-operatively within a multi-cultural environment • Knowledgeable in the use of geological software, geo-modelling tools and databases. • Very good knowledge in geological models, log analysis/correlation and mapping, and sedimentary basin evaluation • Highly motivated and self-starter • Highly adaptive Team player • International mobility • Openmindness |
