An International Oilfield Service Company is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Geologist to work for their project in and outside Iraq. • The position will interact closely with reservoir engineers and earth scientists to refine and maintain a first quartile geologic assessment of the subsurface. • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be an integral part in achieving team and business goals. • Provide geologic expertise to all phases of the value chain |

Skills required for Geologist |
• Degree in Geology or relevant studies • 1-5 years of working experience in similar field. • Strong background in all aspects of development and production geology • Strong understanding of the inter-relationship between the geoscience and engineering disciplines • Excellent communication skills with proven success in working within a team environment • Ability to evaluate reservoirs based on geologic and engineering data • Functional knowledge of reservoir engineering, geophysics, drilling and production operation principles and their relation to practical reservoir management • Experience with Microsoft Office products required. • Knowledge of technical software. • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a highly-collaborative, multi-cultural team environment. |
