Description of Graduate Chemical Engineer

An International Oilfield Company is looking to recruit results oriented Graduate Chemical Engineer with initiative, drive and ambition to succeed in a dynamic, international environment.

The successfully applicants will be involved with the application of Dynamic modeling software environments in the production of models related to the petrochemical, oil and gas, power and chemical processes using proprietary software, working with engineers, operators and managers.

Skills required for Graduate Chemical Engineer

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related Engineering discipline from a recognized University.
• 0-1 year of experience as Chemical Engineer in Oil and Gas/Oilfield industry.
• Experience in any other software application used for modelling processes will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively with software and to learn quickly the use of complex software tools. These include process simulation, process design, process control, or similar technical specialized software.
• Good communication skills including good knowledge of the English language both spoken and written; ability to explain technical issues to non-experts and to write effective technical manuals, will be considered an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively as part of a team in a demanding international client environment and interface effectively with plant operation personnel.
Remarks • Iraq educated candidates would have an advantage.
