Foster Wheeler’s structured Graduate Programme enables Procurement graduates to become qualified either as Buyers or Contract Engineers via CIPS, by exposing them to various projects and disciplines and developing their careers within the contract engineering discipline. Responsibilities The Foster Wheeler Graduate Programme for Procurement graduates comprises an initial period of two years of training. This is followed by a further two years to continue to develop your learning and provide you with the necessary skills and experience to become qualified through CIPS. Other features of The Graduate Programme include: - Accredited training with six monthly salary reviews and quarterly development reviews for the first two years, followed by two additional years of career development - Each graduate is assigned a mentor, a departmental training supervisor and a graduate development adviser to ensure they are supported in their personal and professional development to gain chartered status (where applicable) - From the beginning there is hands-on involvement working on projects with the opportunity to develop skills by working alongside experienced engineers - There are opportunities for site placements in the UK and abroad during a graduate's first few years with Foster Wheeler |
