Description of HSEQ Senior Director |
Maersk Oil is looking for an experienced Oil and Gas industry professional to take up the position as Senior Director of the HSE and Quality Management functions in Maersk Oil.
Job Specifications: As Senior Director of the HSEQ department in Maersk Oil you will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of and setting the direction for HSE and QM. You will be an integral part of the management team and report directly to the CEO of Maersk Oil. Your principal responsibilities will be: - Direct, manage and guide the department including ensuring optimal manning and distribution of tasks - Ensure optimal coordination with other departments and Bus - Ensure world class HR management within department aligned with APMM ambitions and tools provided - Responsible for determining the Maersk Oil HSEQ policy, objectives and strategy - Be part of Maersk Oil management - Lead in ensuring clear and consistent interpretation of APMM and Maersk Oil HSEQ policy - Lead in preparation of Maersk Oil HSEQ strategy based on APMM and Maersk Oil HSEQ policy in consultation with country managers - Manage all HSEQ target-setting, benchmarking and performance measurement in Maersk Oil - Responsible for measurement of operational unit HSEQ performance - Provide focal point and facilitate sharing of learning’s and best practice between regions across APMM - Monitor and ensure department input to risk management and risk mitigation analysis - Communicate the HSEQ strategy and build greater awareness of HSEQ practice across Maersk Oil General responsibilities: - Manage the managers of the HSE and Q functions - Live, communicate and promote the company values |

Skills required for HSEQ Senior Director |
Qualifications:
- 15 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry - Minimum BSc in science, engineering or other relevant field - Good knowledge of HSEQ methodologies and practices - Strong analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Individual drive and good teamwork capabilities - Ability to manage stakeholders at different levels - Fluent in spoken and written English - Preferred: experience in government relations in an HSEQ context |
