Description of International Sales Manager

International Sales Manager is responsible for the overall success of Company’s Sales and Marketing Program. This includes establishing positive relationships and communication with distributors and end-users to influence the purchase of reciprocating and rotary compressors.

Responsibilities include the following:
• Provide leadership and development with Company distributor network by understanding, actively participating and partnering with them in their daily operations.
• Provide expertise on application and performance sizing, technical sales training and communicating field service issues.
• Assist in the development of distributor sales forecasts, account strategies and business planning.
• Lead and participate in the development of sales opportunities in new markets.
• Research, develop, and follow up on leads at existing and prospective distributors, and end-users to grow Company's market share.
• Identify key end-user and E&C accounts, develop and maintain account profiles for these accounts.
• Identify and communicate industry, distributor and end-user needs, activities, opportunities, and trends that provide opportunities and/or challenges for Company in the market.
• Participate in and give input on sales and marketing strategies and goals.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner and participate in planning of exhibits by developing technical presentations in conjunction with company staff, assist in developing proposals to customers on technical products and services, and attend trade shows and conferences for marketing and communication on Company's products and services.
• Act as a role model in carrying out job duties assigned within this position. This includes ethical management, strong work ethic, solid communication, creative problem solving, and focus on getting results.

Skills required for International Sales Manager

Successful candidates should have Russian citizenship or have permit to work in Russia and have the following background/experience/skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5 years previous selling experience, both field and corporate.
• Previous experience in gas compression industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of gas compression market, business, distributor networks, engine and packaging, sizing requirements, and industry regulations.
• Technical service, sales, or application background required.
• Strong sense of personal accountability.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing process.
• Demonstrated understanding of cultural sensitivities and customs required for international position.
