Description of Maintenance Supervisor

An International Oilfield Service Company is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Maintenance Supervisor to work for their project in and outside Iraq.

Duties:
• Responsible for efficient execution of maintenance electical/instrumentation work.
• Responsible for safety/environmental and maintenance work standards, code of conduct and individual performance expectations for both contractors and employees.
• Assigns and supervises work of technicians including:
- Utilization of computer based work scheduling program for daily planning and execution of all assigned tasks
- Providing daily and weekly schedule for technicians.
- Work closely with planners to facilitate optimum use of resources in managing maintenance workload and meeting goals
- Handling on-call after hour issues; performing and documenting job safety analysis for each assigned task.
- Execute and monitor results of preventative maintenance program with emphasis on improving reliability and recommend improvements as needed.
- Identify training needs of technicians and serve as an instructor.
• Performs administrative duties associated with responsibilities.

Skills required for Maintenance Supervisor

• B.S. Degree in Electronics/Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum five (5) years Engineering experience preferably in area with exposure to operations or similar field.
• Supervisory experience, knowledge of maintenance skills and job methods, and ability to perform instrument level troubleshooting and repair.
• Previous working experience in an Oilfield company
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Leadership skills and ability to work well with supervisors and electricians/instrument technicians.
• Possess organizational, trouble-shooting, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with capability to handle multiple assignments.
•Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
