Position: Total is looking for maritime experts to join a team working to constantly improve offshore safety in the Company’s Exploration & Production business. Your responsibilities: • Conduct technical audits of contractors and subsidiaries. • Inspect Exploration & Production marine facilities such as supply vessels, jack-up rigs and semi-submersible vessels. • Federate maritime expertise in the area of offshore operations. • Ensure compliance with Total’s offshore standards. • Help to select floating units and study port infrastructure. • Advise and assist teams with the design and operational aspects of major projects. • Actively represent Total in international organizations. |

Skills required for Marine Specialist |
Profile: • A Class 1 Master Mariner (Unlimited) Certificate of Competence. • Knowledge of maritime transport regulations. • A good level of spoken and written English. • Good writing and communication skills. Significant experience in one of the following areas would be an advantage: • Oil and/or LNG shipping. • Offshore operations, including management of e.a.AHTS vessels, rig moves and DP audits. • Maritime piloting (for an overseas assignment). • Experience with offshore subsea operations (ROV, diving) Experience: • More than 10 years in the merchant marine and/or offshore as a senior navigation officer. Skills: • Personal qualities • Interest in multicultural environments • Team spirit • Good judgment and decision-making ability Ability to work independently |

| Remarks | Based in Paris, France, you will frequently travel to other countries to visit our operating facilities. In time, you will be given an expatriate assignment. | ||
