Description of Material Planning Engineer |
Job Purpose: • Plays an effective role in the Company’s materials; related matters by coordinating with the Job Officers/ Planning Engineers and Liaising with Commercial Unit (CM) to ensure availability of materials in time and of specified technical as well as quality deliberation. |

Skills required for Material Planning Engineer |
Education: • Bachelor • High Diploma • Diploma • Secondary school Certificates Experience: • 10 years and above • 5 years – 10 years minimum experience Skills: • Ms Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook) • 2 maximum of SAP or equivalent ERP / EAM • In depth knowledge of supply chain management in oil and gas companies. • Knowledge of business processes and ability on oil and gas processes • Experience in purchasing • Experience in materials specifications / standards • Hands-on experience in spir process / stock creation • Experience in materials logistics • Knowledge of international, standards, QA / QC specs and third party inspection process • Knowledge of contracts engineering and contract administration • Experience in projects / maintenance • Presentation skills • Training young engineers • Team player • Good command in English in addition Arabic is advantage • Good skills in communication, negotiation and time management • Maintenance / materials requirement planning (MRP) inventory control and stock optimization • Strategic materials management • Balanced score card, targets and KPL |
