Description of Oracle Applications 12i Developer |
The Oracle 12i Applications Developer will perform the identification, design, development, implementation and maintenance of Oracle Financials, CRM, OPM, HRMS, SCM modules, interfaces and reports. The candidate will need to define the scope and definition of IT solutions; create and analyze system requirements; develop design documentation; design, code, test, and debug all developed programs; and adhere to all design, coding, and documentation standards. In addition, this individual will work independently on large complex systems, resolve complex systems and programming problems, and provide guidance and counsel to less experienced programmer-analysts. Critical Responsibilities • Build and support conversions, extensions, interfaces and reports for all Oracle 12i application modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, HRMS, PO, CRM, OPM) based on functional and business needs • Collaborate with DBA and department management on the architecture and design of all product development efforts • Develop Oracle application system components based on requirements definitions to promote and ensure re-usability • Conduct system analysis and performance profiling to identify critical areas for modification to ensure highest possible quality of code for scalability and performance • Support Oracle through timely maintenance updates, and active bug resolution with operations personnel. Important Responsibilities • Work closely with business users to facilitate system adoption • Participate in Requirements Analysis team meetings and discussions to ensure functional and business understanding of required development efforts • Install, perform technical configurations on, and build interfaces to new Oracle modules as needed • Create high-quality written deliverables for sign-off by business users and team members, such as design documents, release notes and general maintenance procedures. |

Skills required for Oracle Applications 12i Developer |
• Minimum of 3+ years of full life cycle development experience is required • 2+ years experience in Oracle E-Business Suite in AP, AR, GL, FA, PO modules • 3 years experience in Application APIs, Application Open Interfaces • 3 years experience with Oracle Database and Oracle Developer tool set (Forms/Reports/PL/SQL). • Expert level knowledge in Reports, SQL, PL/SQL and in other RDBMS concepts • Knowledge of Oracle configurations / setups for 12i E-Business Suite, table structures, Schemas • Knowledge of accounting concepts • Creative, professional, proactive, interested in new technologies • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required including the ability to communicate technical subjects to n-technical persons • Ability to analyze problems and communicate and propose resolution for the critical issues |
