Description of Principal Design Engineer - Metallurgy & Corrosion |
The candidate shall have in depth knowledge and hands on experience in the following: • Materials selection for CPU (Central Processing Unit) and pipelines • Corrosivity calculations • Cathodic protection • Inhibitor technology • Paints & Coatings • Insulation • Welding & inspection procedures • Chemical cleaning • Fabrication technology • Sound knowledge of all the international codes |

Skills required for Principal Design Engineer - Metallurgy & Corrosion |
• Metallurgy/Corrosion engineers with 17+ years of experience in material selection, cathodic protection, chemical cleaning, corrosivity calculation, inhibitor technology, painting & coating and insulation. • Should be well versed with NACE,ASME,API,ASTM,ANSI,NORSOK,DNV and BS codes. • Experience in an EPC environment of Oil & Gas is a must. |
