Description of Project Control Graduate

Responsibilities
The Foster Wheeler Graduate Programme for project control graduates comprises an initial period of two years of training. This is followed by a further two years to continue to develop your learning, obtain an NVQ in Project Controls and provide you with the necessary skills and experience to apply for membership of the relevant professional institution and become chartered where applicable.

Other features of The Graduate Programme include:
• Accredited training with six monthly salary reviews and quarterly development reviews for the first two years, followed by two additional years of career development
• Each graduate is assigned a mentor, a departmental training supervisor and a graduate development adviser to ensure they are supported in their personal and professional development
• From the beginning there is hands-on involvement working on projects with the opportunity to develop skills by working alongside experienced engineers
• There are opportunities for site placements in the UK and abroad during a graduate's first few years with Foster Wheeler

The Individual
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about developing their career in the engineering and oil and gas industry.

Skills required for Project Control Graduate

You will need a minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree in a subject that demonstrates a range of thought and application and includes the application of numeracy. Candidates who apply for this position should be able to show experience of organisational skills, interpersonal skills, an eagerness for learning and self-motivation.
