Description of Reservoir Engineer |
A Major International Oil Company is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Reservoir Engineer to work for their project in and outside Iraq. Roles and Responsibilities: • Responsible for conducting and implementing reservoir engineering studies in a multi-disciplinary team related to development of the Company in accordance with industry standards and requirements. • Responsible for conducting of basic reservoir engineering. • Perform reservoir engineering studies. • Participate in update of calculation and assessing risks and uncertainties. • Play an integral role in preparation and implementation of field development plan. • Identify and evaluate opportunities to optimize economic recovery. • Develop a reservoir management strategy on different reservoir horizons. • Production forecasting and optimization. • Participate in planning well testing on exploration and development wells. • Participate and recommend reservoir data gathering and play active role in well planning. • Plan for production logging requirements. • Responsible for reservoir data capture and availability. • Responsible for timely and accurately reporting to the Company's management. |

Skills required for Reservoir Engineer |
• Degree in Petroleum Engineering or relevant discipline. • Minimum five (5) years Engineering experience in similar field • Proficiency in use of industry standard softwares for reservoir engineering. • Motivated self-starter. • Working in multi-disciplinary team. • Solid background in development and production with good analytical reservoir engineering skills. • Integration with other subsurface disciplines. • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Interact with all teams within the organization |
