Skills required for Reservoir Stimulation Engineer |
• Candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in hydraulic fracturing or acid stimulation. • Experience should include the design of hydraulic fracturing treatments in conjunction with reservoir characterization and reservoir engineering of fractured wells. • Preferably also experience with on-site supervision and QC of stimulation treatments, and post-treatment analysis and optimisation. • Candidates should have a strong background in fracture modelling, fracture fluid chemistry, and stimulation equipment and services. • Good oral and written communication skills are a plus. • BS in Petroleum Engineering or other related engineering discipline is required. |
