Description of Senior Strategic Analyst |
As Senior Strategic Analyst within Maersk Oil, Strategy, you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks and development opportunities. The Position: You will – as an industry specialist - be part of a small, flexible team involved in diversified tasks related to strategy, portfolio management, benchmarking, management support and industry analysis. The position will give you good insight in the Maersk Oil and the opportunity to impact the business direction of the company as well as a strong network and foothold for a further career within Maersk Oil. Your primary tasks will include: • Lead/participate in the development of strategy and strategic initiative • Lead/participate in portfolio analysis and portfolio management recommendations • Coordinate strategy input including country evaluation and industry trend analyses • Lead/participate in workgroups and projects around strategic initiatives • Participate in performance measurement and benchmarking • Lead/participate in the development of board material and communication of strategic material to management • Contribute to department/ad-hoc tasks for senior management • Build strong working relationship with other Maersk Oil stakeholder and the APMM Group |

Skills required for Senior Strategic Analyst |
The Person: We expect you to have 5-10 years working experience within E&P as well as a proven performance record, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, a master level education. You must have good teamwork capabilities as well as individual drive, a passion for numbers and analysis and good interpersonal skills as well as being comfortable and motivated by the specialist role. Furthermore, you should be comfortable with meeting short deadlines and have the ability to timely deliver a quality product. |
